The Everest Quest
A progressive Everest-inspired team challenge where participants solve, communicate, adapt and collaborate through demanding expedition stages toward one shared summit goal.

About
The Everest Quest transforms the journey to the world’s highest summit into a progressive corporate team challenge. Participants become expedition teams beginning at Everest Base Camp, with one clear objective: move through a series of increasingly demanding stages and reach the Summit.
Each stage represents a different part of the ascent. Teams cross the Khumbu Icefall, manage expedition supplies, make strategic decisions at Camp II, communicate their way through the Lhotse Face and respond to changing conditions in the High Altitude Zone. Challenges combine problem solving, physical coordination, planning, communication and resource management, creating variety throughout the experience.
Competition keeps the energy high as teams race, solve and perform against one another. However, the nature of the expedition gradually changes as participants climb higher. Information becomes fragmented, resources become limited and challenges increasingly require teams to connect beyond their own group.
The journey culminates in the Summit Push, where individual expedition success is no longer enough. Teams must combine the information and resources collected throughout the program to complete one final shared mission and unlock the Summit together.
Learning outcomes
The Everest Quest gives participants an opportunity to experience how teamwork changes when conditions become more demanding. Early challenges encourage teams to establish roles, share ideas and coordinate their actions quickly. As the expedition progresses, participants must make decisions with limited information, organize resources and communicate clearly while working under time pressure.
The changing nature of each stage also highlights the importance of adaptability. A strategy that works at one point in the journey may no longer be effective when the conditions, resources or objectives change. Teams are encouraged to reassess their approach, listen to different perspectives and respond collectively rather than relying on individual effort.
Later stages expand collaboration beyond the original team. Participants discover that another group may hold the information, resources or capability they need to progress. Competition therefore develops into connection, exchange and shared problem solving.
The final Summit Push brings these lessons together. Success depends on combining different strengths and contributions around one common objective.
Participants leave with a simple but relevant message for the workplace:
Strong teams know how to perform independently. High-performing organizations know how to connect those teams when the challenge becomes bigger than any one group.
