About

Special Ops Briefcase is a tense, themed business game. A series of video briefings sends your teams on a special operations investigation into a criminal network, with locked briefcases holding the challenges and resources they need.

Video updates arrive at set times throughout the programme, much like real-time status reports, and a countdown timer shows how long remains until the next one.

At the centre of the game is a briefcase with four locked compartments: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. Each, once opened, reveals new challenges and resources to assess and solve.

Teams submit their findings through a secure tablet app connected to the operations team. With every update the pressure increases, and only well-organised teams keep pace. It feels like a genuine operations room from the first briefing.

Learning outcomes

Special Ops Briefcase challenges teams to think strategically and work in agile ways, connecting the right people and information at the right moment. Information arrives in pieces, so sharing it quickly matters.

Participants gain a real appreciation of how cross-functional communication supports leadership in changing situations and high performance under pressure. Teams soon realise that the correct answer is of little use if it arrives too late.

The countdown between briefings adds urgency, encouraging teams to prioritise, delegate and decide quickly without sacrificing accuracy. Clear roles and short check-ins help them remain calm as deadlines approach.

The engaging theme and variety of challenges keep everyone involved and give teams a clear view of individual strengths, team dynamics and the real power of working together.
