Classic Cinema Remake turns each team into a film studio for the afternoon, with the goal of producing a 15-minute version of a famous classic film.
Each team is assigned a film and given a generous selection of props and costumes. The costumes spark ideas immediately, and teams soon discover their natural directors, writers and leading actors.
Teams then write the script, cast the roles, plan the shots and rehearse. When filming begins, they shoot and reshoot scenes until every take feels right. Each team adds its own twist, so no two remakes are alike.
In as little as three hours, every film is complete. The premiere screens each production, followed by a glamorous awards ceremony that celebrates the finest performances and productions.
Learning outcomes
