Sky Pilot Obstacle Run
Shape the course with your team, then pilot a drone through it.

About
Sky Pilot Obstacle Run combines technology, strategy and plenty of laughter. Each team has a drone and a clear objective: fly it through a course of eight obstacles, from take-off to a precise landing on the launch pad.
The twist is that the obstacles are made by the team itself. Teams study eight cards, each showing a different formation, and work out how to recreate it with their own bodies.
Careful planning comes first: who stands where, who moves when and who takes the controls. Every person has a turn piloting the drone, and teams rehearse their formations repeatedly, finding faster and smarter ways to set up each obstacle.
The final run is timed. The winning team is the one that involves every member and moves with the greatest speed and precision.
Learning outcomes
Sky Pilot Obstacle Run is an inventive way to develop teams through technology. Practice rounds push teams to find the most efficient way to move and position themselves, shaving valuable seconds off every attempt.
Designing and rethinking the obstacles calls for creative thinking and often leads to genuine breakthroughs. As roles keep changing, everyone must adapt constantly, a fitting metaphor for agile teamwork. Teams that rotate roles smoothly tend to record the fastest times.
Although it feels like play, it is a demanding exercise in strategic planning that involves everyone without placing anyone under the spotlight. Quieter colleagues get their turn at the controls too.
Time pressure keeps the atmosphere competitive yet safe, giving teams space to see how they really work together and to build habits of trust and clear communication.
