About
Raise the flag, sing the anthem, and design a national costume before the next great revolution begins! Nation Forge is an inventive, high-energy challenge that explores branding and identity by tasking teams with building a nation’s identity from scratch.
Each team receives a randomly assigned set of unique national traits – perhaps a coastal nation with a cool climate, warrior citizens, and a sacred reverence for horses. From these traits, teams imagine their nation and develop its brand: a name, a flag, an anthem (song and dance), and traditional dress, using fabric, accessories, and tools that can be traded or purchased along the way.
The experience builds to a Eurovision-style showcase, where every new nation unveils its identity through a freely staged performance featuring its flag, anthem, dance, and costume.
Just as a distinct message, culture, and identity are vital to any business, nations are shaped over time by history, geography, and culture – and must nurture and celebrate what makes them unique.
