Starship Crime Scene
Search the starship, follow the evidence and solve a mystery in deep space.

About
Starship Crime Scene is a murder mystery set aboard a space station, brought to life in high-definition virtual reality. Escape-room-style problem-solving keeps every team member involved from start to finish.
Teams share a VR headset, taking turns as lead investigator while teammates outside track the evidence and suggest where to search next. The headset keeps moving round the team, so nobody sits out for long.
Together they must determine how, why and when a crime took place in deep space, searching level after level of an abandoned starship for clues.
Interactive features and atmospheric sound effects build suspense as teams venture into uncharted sectors, assembling a trail of evidence until they can finally close the case. It is an ideal blend of cutting-edge technology and classic detective work.
Learning outcomes
Starship Crime Scene develops leadership and teamwork under the pressures of competition and time. Every player gets a turn as the investigator.
Active listening and asking the right questions are essential, especially when only one person can see the scene at a time. Teams learn to describe what they see precisely and to resist jumping to conclusions.
Teams apply deductive reasoning, moving from the general to the specific, to connect clues into a logical answer. With each turn in VR, the team becomes better at separating assumption from reality.
The race to be first with the correct answer at each level keeps everyone engaged and encourages supportive, positive behaviour as each player does their best for the team. Teams leave buzzing and comparing theories.
