ibuild is an enjoyable and uniting activity. This exercise focuses on language, feedback, and the significance of developing a step-by-step project approach, yielding positive results. It’s also a terrific way to emphasize that every team member is essential to the group’s success.
Individuals are divided into tiny groups. Their objective was to duplicate a model utilizing basic components within a minimal amount of time. Following the assignment of particular duties, teams build their own communication techniques. These techniques hold the key to success, since the selected builder for each side never sees the original model. All pertinent information must be relayed via a chain of team members. At the halfway point of the competition, team members trade roles.
The rules of this game have been adjusted to emphasize the fundamental concepts of communicating information properly. These same ideas may be used to enhance communications with consumers and across teams and departments inside an organization. The session concludes with a quick debriefing in which participants are asked to discuss their experiences and findings.
