The power of music is harnessed by Crescendo to help teams unite and accomplish the apparently impossible. The majority of us would never imagine learning to play an instrument in less than an hour. It is achievable, though, if everyone focuses on a similar objective and works together as a group.
This musical team-building exercise provides several advantages. Music is very good in enhancing the learning process. It causes the release of dopamine, which in turn stimulates good thoughts and emotions of happiness. And when teams create music together, it fosters togetherness, collaboration, and synergy in a way that few other activities can.
Participants begin the event by listening to music performed by our teachers. Imagine their expressions when we inform them that they would soon be doing the same action. As teachers assign each student a violin or viola, surprise quickly gives way to curiosity. They are skilfully directed through a practical session covering the fundamentals, and everyone then learns the easy part they will play in the next performance. And all of a sudden, with the aid of a taped background track, everyone is generating music – actual music.

You’ll want a large space in a private, sound-proof conference room. Tables are optional, but each participant will need a chair.  and a chair for each participant. You’ll also need a stage area at the front of the room (elevated if possible). Groups larger than 50 people require a microphone and speaker setup.
