About
Summer Stages Music Trail brings the spirit of a summer music festival to your event. Teams play a group of friends heading to the festival, and a game app guides them to GPS-located stages set up around your venue.
The festival has seven stages, each dedicated to a different musical genre. When a team arrives, the app unlocks a series of challenges: solving puzzles, capturing photos and videos of festival moments and finding real facts on the festival’s support website.
Teams plan their route, divide the tasks and keep moving to make the most of their time, collecting points for every challenge completed.
The highest score wins. The format also works remotely, in hybrid teams or across several offices, so colleagues in different cities or countries can attend the same festival.
Learning outcomes
The game creates shared memories and plenty of conversation, which helps teams bond and keeps people talking long after it ends. Many groups are still swapping photos days later.
Every round encourages players to review how they solve problems and refine their approach. As they become better at gathering and sharing information, their score rises.
Limited time and resources test team dynamics and encourage people to be creative and spot opportunities others might miss. Teams that split up wisely and regroup quickly usually lead the scoreboard.
Each stage allows teams to give specific tasks to specific people, so everyone plays to their strengths and feels part of the result. It is an enjoyable way to see how your team divides and conquers.
